Education Qualification

SSC GD Constable	Aspirants must have a certificate/ degree of 10th or must have an equivalent qualification from a recognized institute/ Board.

Age Limit

• ]The candidate’s minimum age should be 18 Years and maximum age should be 23 Years as on Notification Date.
• Relaxation in Upper Age Limit is applicable to Reserve Categories candidates as per Government of India Norms and Rules.

Salary / Pay Scale

• Pay salary for SSC Constable GD Posts: Pay Level-3 (Rs 21,700-69,100)

Application Fees

• The application submission fees for Aspirants: All Other Candidates - Rs. 100/-
• Form submission fees for Candidate: SC, ST, Female, Ex-Servicemen - NIL
• Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa,
• Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or through cash in SBI
• Branches by generating SBI Challan.

• Stage 1- Written examination (Computer Based)
• Stage 2- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Stage 3- Physical Standard Test (PST)
• Stage 4- Medical Test

• One-Time Registration (OTR): If you are a new user, complete the One-Time Registration. Previous OTR on old website (ssc.nic.in) is not valid.
• Login: Log in using your Registration Number and Password.
• Apply: Click on the “Apply” link in the “Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026” section.
• Fill Details: Fill in the application form carefully. Give preference for CAPFs (7 options).
• Uploads: Upload your live photograph (via webcam/app) and scanned signature.
• Pay Fee: Pay the application fee of Rs. 100/- (if applicable).
• Print: Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
