Exam Pattern: SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2026
The Computer Based Examination (CBE) will consist of one objective type paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each.
- Time Duration: 60 Minutes
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
- Languages: English, Hindi, and 13 Regional Languages (including Gujarati).

Physical Standards (PST & PET)
Physical Standard Test (PST):
- Height:
- Male: 170 cms
- Female: 157 cms
- Chest (Male only):
- Un-expanded: 80 cms
- Minimum Expansion: 5 cms
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) (Race):
- Male: 5 Km in 24 minutes.
- Female: 1.6 Km in 8 ½ minutes.
- (Note: Different standards apply for candidates of Ladakh Region).
